David Rainbow is an associate professor of history in the Honors College at the University of Houston. Before moving to Houston, he earned a PhD in Russian history from New York University, and was a post-doctoral fellow at Columbia University’s Harriman Institute for Russia, Eurasian, and East European Studies.
