Joseph Porter is an associate teaching professor at the Benson Center for the Study of Western Civilization at the University of Colorado Boulder and was previously the Nancy Schaenen Endowed Visiting Scholar of Ethics at DePauw University. He received his PhD in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Divinity School.
